That’s it — that’s the news! You can now pre-order a copy of my book from your favorite vendor. I added a page to the website with links and information about ordering from various places.
Actually, if you were really hell-bent on it, you already could have pre-ordered in the last few months, but it felt a little too soon for me to make a big announcement. We’re now six months away from the publication date (March 15), not too far off to be drafting your spring reading list.
I’m told that pre-orders can send an important signal to publishers and bookstores about where to direct their resources for publicity and whatnot, so if you intend to buy eventually, this would be a good time to do so!
If you’re interested in a signed copy and don’t want to wait for an in-person event in the spring, please place your order with Hipocampo Books, an independent bookstore in the South Wedge that specializes in multilingual and multicultural children’s literature. Just include a comment with your order, including any inscription you’d like. There’s no extra cost and you’ll be supporting a fantastic local store.
